Plot: Two robots traveling through Death Valley stop in a town and get masks that make them look like humans. The other robots in town do not like these strange outsiders and run them out of town. All the while, the human masks are melting. The two protagonists take shelter in a bathroom and, realizing the masks only made them look human, not become human, they walk dejectedly off into the desert. Deciding he can't take it anymore, one of the robots asks the other to arm his self destruct device on his back. He does, and the robot blows up. The remaining robot walks off alone and, when he can't reach his own self-destruct device, he sets himself on fire and dies. In trying to be different, they did become human after all. -- Dylan
