Fanciful undersea adventure about the seafaring rogue Captain Nemo and a band of shipwrecked survivors taken to his aquatic metropolis. Underwater footage is fine but the miniatures and effects are silly looking. Robert Ryan is a weird fit as Captain Nemo.

Ridiculous, but oddly fun underwater adventure if you can buy Robert Ryan as Captain Nemo and Chuck Connors as a Senator. Final Grade: C+
