Tarkovsky defines perfectly his movie with this title, that, somewhat reflects his feelings towards family, your country... and everything that eventually gives you some kind of identity. The movie is the story of a man, that aparently has his heart devided between what he wants, and what he should do. As usual in this master, the cinematography is spectacular, also the music. The final shot is one of the most marvelous things I've ever seen. Warning: is also the slowest film I've ever seen. Not for all audiences.
