What a depressing and pointless movie.Nicolas Cage goes from heaven to the hole in his career, as he seems to choose his parts so poorly.This is an example.A pretensious movie, no fun at all.Tells the story of a weatherman in the midst of a mid-life crisis.Boring, but a great performance by Michael Caine.Gore Verbinski's directing is like Cage's chooses, too.

A film whose stellar acting and witty writing is wasted on a slow-paced and depressing thought. Nic Cage plays a depressed weatherman, but, by following his downward spiral, the movie mostly serves in depressing the audience, as well.

heres the thing.i liked this film,but yes i did feel a little bored wth this film at times.but Cage and Caine's performances are great.the story was everywhere and didn't even let you stop for breath when you needed it.the movie was well played out.i loved it,but just like i said,the plot was way too everywhere and it did feel slow.overall,i enjoyed the film,just not as much as I was really hopeing to.

The Weather Man is a Very Funny, yet mediocre film. The Cast is Good, with Nicholas Cage and Micheal Caine both giving superb performances. The Direction By Gore Verbinski is good, The writing is very funny and the Cinematography is beautiful, but the film is very slow paced, often drags along and supplies a dull outcome, which eventually becomes so depressing that by the end of the film, you're left wanting and deserving more.

I am really a Nicholas Cage fan and like most of the things he does. This movie was a little strange and not what you would expect from Cage.
