Weakest of the 'Vacation' series. It's got a few laughs, but nothing major.

Vegas Vacation was really the last of the Griswald family movies. Unfortunately it was the weakest of the 4 vacation movies. The best being Christmas Vacation which has so many funny moments that it made was a difficult one to top. Ethan Embry was a good addition to this movie as the character of Rusty had been pretty weak since Anthony Michael Hall has originally performed the character in 1983. It was good to see that they managed to keep Beverly D'Angelo and Randy Quaid in the film, as Quaid was the one of the best parts of the movie. If you have seen the others then this will be somewhat of a let down, while not awful, it doesn't really live up to the other 3 National Lampoon Vacations.

I find this a pretty sad coda to the National Lampoon vacation films. If you haven't seen this, stick with Christmas Vacation and forget they made this one. It has its moments, but it can't hold a candle to the other three.
