Bizarrely inventive animation and comical story is marred by a dehumanizing execution that the film barely blinks for. |

Sure, Pixar's computer animation is nice, but it's good to know that you can still find magic in traditional animation. Despite having scant dialogue, this French film is daring and original. An animated treat for adults. |

A strange but endearing French film. There is almost no dialog in the entire film but it's not necessary. The animation is unusual (obviously not American) and there are parts that are gross. But the ultimate, underlying story is touching. The secondary plot makes it an adventure. Highly recommend this one, but not for young kids. |
