Transamerica is a highly overrated movie. This film is good for it's Good Direction and It's good acting, but suffers from lazy writing and slow pacing. Felicity Huffman is good and convincing as a woman(in real life), playing a man becoming a woman. Kevin Zegers is always good as the son she didn't know she had. The movie has many pointless scenes that leave questions to be answered, thus making the movie un-enjoyable and causes the bordem to start very early on. The acting alone, is the only reason that anyone should see this movie. |
