Will The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Sweep the Razzies? One Can Only Hope...

Every year while the best and brightest are celebrated by the likes of the Golden Globes, Oscars, Critics Choice Awards and many more prestigious awards, there is also the other end of the coin. The Razzie Awards celebrate the absolute bottom of the barrel - the "best" of the worst if you so choose. Past award "winners" include the likes of Battlefield Earth, Howard the Duck, Gigli, Leonard Part 6, Showgirls and The Last Airbender.

Actors have also enjoyed the dubious honor of receiving the coveted Golden Raspberry with Bruce Willis, Eddie Murphy, Sylvester Stallone, Kevin Costner, Halle Berry, Sharon Stone, Demi Moore and Madonna all having been awarded - many of them multiple times.

This year we have a front-runner. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is nominated in every category. That's right, from Worst Screen Couple to Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel - the shiny vampire crew has an opportunity to sweep the Razzies. Does it deserve the honor? Let's look at the competition:

You've got to take the good with the bad and the Razzies remind us every year just how bad things get. Is Twilight bad enough to sweep these awards? I'm not so sure - the competition is seriously trying to out-do themselves in the terrible department. We'll just have to wait until the 33rd Annual Razzies are announced the day before the Academy Awards on Feb. 23, 2013.
