Well, hopefully you need to catch up on some of the rush of limited release films (I know I certainly do) because Hollywood isn't in much of a mood for new films.
In fact, the only film opening in wide release today is the Nicolas Cage Black Plague drama / fantasy film Season of the Witch. Considering this has been pushed back from an earlier release into the dregs of January, something tells me it's not going to catch much attention at the box office.
If knights and pestilence aren't your thing, try to track down Black Swan, The King's Speech and The Fighter to see what all the Oscar buzz is about. I can only hope True Grit can top Little Fockers this week, but my faith in humanity has been crushed before.
Not much to report on - see you Sunday night when we learn just how far down Season of the Witch is going to open (I'm gonna say #6).
