Looks like Bond, James Bond, is a casualty of the current problems over at MGM. The mega-hit franchise has been put on indefinite hold while MGM looks for a buyer.
The latest Bond film was set for a 2011/2012 release, but now the future is in doubt. Star Daniel Craig is still confident the show will go on, just not sure when.
Maybe this is a good thing, while Casino Royale was a welcome change, Quantum of Solace was a letdown. Hopefully a little down time will allow everyone involved to tweak and refine the story, making a better overall film. I'm pretty sure the franchise will keep on ticking, no matter the trouble, it's too good to pass up.
