A perfect family movie, "Secondhand Lions" is rich with sweetness and heart.

A marginally decent family film, but I certainly wouldn't watch it again without a kid in the room. Osment's ham-handed performance makes a convincing argument as to why child actors should not be elligible for Oscar nominations, showing his genius in "Sixth Sense" had to be a fluke.

This was actually very good. Performances are great all-around, not to be surprising, since Michael Caine and Robert Duvall always bring their game out. Haley Joel Osment went against the new image he was creating as a family actor by portraying a character, a real character, with motivations and intentions, in a family film. It was wonderful. I expect great things from him in the future. As a film, the movie had me enrapt in its side stories and tales, along with bringing about a wonderful message of hopes and dreams coming true to the most unexpected people.

Although Caine can't do an American accent to save his life, he's cute as one of the old eccentric uncles. Duvall is good as always. Cute story. Good family show.

One summer on a whim we rented this movie not really knowing what it was about. It was wounderful! I really recomend this heartwarming movie about a young boy who is dropped off by his mother to stay with his two great uncles. Micheal Caine and Robert Duvall have great chemistry as two bickering old men. This movie is funny and touching.
