Okay first of all Scream was an excellent fun, movie. Kevin Williamson wrote a clever, and witty script which was awesome, and then Wes Craven directed it which is fucking amazing. Wes Craven directed this movie beautifully, and had a good cast. Skeet Ulrich, and Matthew Lillard were absolutely the best killer I've ever seen. Neve Campbell was also an actress that was perfect for the role, I couldn't imagine anyone else being "Sidney Prescott". Overall, Scream was just the best movie of the 90's! A complete classic.

You must love "Scream." Wes Craven returns after a serious bout of nonsense to bring classic slasher flicks back to theatres. Yes, the writing was awful, there was little mystery, acting could've been made worse by Jamie Kennedy [wait he was in it], and the style suggested lack of funding as opposed to classic cinematography, but alas, this movie holds a dear, dear place in my heart and will for enternities to come.

This is the best of the screan trilogy. It keeps you guessing as to who is the killer. The acting was good. What killed for me was after they made scary movie I could never take this movie seriously again.

A gift from horror fans for horror fans! And surely all horror fans love having the overused cliches listed for them, so they can watch, enchanted, saying Yes, yes, that's just *exactly* how it is, how we like it! On the other hand, this will probably seem past strange to a mainstream audience. (They will also agree to the truth of the worn cliches of the horror genre, but not with approval.) But for horror fans, this is not to be missed.

Scream was a good acomplishment: making light of all the horror film cliches, while presenting those same cliches in new and exciting ways. Plenty of gruesome deaths and some neat twists make this stand out amongst the crowd.
