A relentlessly silly caper. Val Kilmer does throw himself into the absurd role. Elisabeth Shue is merely a damsel in distress but a very pretty one at least.

Back in the 90's great movies came out so often in rapid sequence that a few gems get overlooked. This is one of those. The suspense of disbelief can be a bit much at times, but all the elements which made 90's movies great are all here. Romantic plot, espionage, government take-over, etc... This is worth a fresh look as it stand very much above the current crop of products Hollywood is pushing out.

I liked this movie. There were some very cool parts in it, like when he constantly changes his identity.

I enjoyed this one. Kilmer was great as the multiple characters he transforms into. Shue, who I don't usually care for, is endearing as the shy, but brilliant scientist. The story is not amazing but overall this is a fun action flick with a romantic twist.

International espionage! Cold Fusion! Russian Mafia! There's a lot going on in The Saint, sometimes, too much. I was always torn on this film. It's plenty entertaining, but it never really left that big of impression.
