Not often you see a one eyed John Wayne bicker with a dainty Katharine Hepburn. Villains are lame but the two leads carry it fine.

Irrelevant sequel to True Grit, this is really only worth watching for Katharine Hepburn's crotchety old maid's entertainingly snide remarks.

Katharine Hepburn did a lot of insignificant films in her latter years, appearing with great actors (i.e. African Queen/Bogie, On Golden Pond/The Fondas). Here, she appears with John Wayne. If you like both actors, you'll be in for a treat, as they interact with each other beautifully. This film might be more fun to see if you are more familiar with their work. I thought it was ok (story-wise), but it could have been worse.
