Jane Austen's classic is lovingly recreated here with a fine cast of committed actors and some faithful adapting in the screenplay. The film is beautifully photographed and Dario Marianelli's classical-influenced score is one of the best scores in recent memory.

Best adaption of Pride and Prejudice! Besides bringing a beautiful book to life, this film was created with great artistry: the music, the setting, the costumes, the acting. All is spot on!

I don't know whether I was under the spell of the movie, or by KEIRA KNIGHTLEY! I'd better be sure that I'm reviewing the film and not her. Isn't she drop-dead gorgeous? Her beauty is so perfect. Her acting is so....perfect. I'm at a lost for words. Anyway, I still think that this movie is a downgrade on JANE AUSTEN's work. But thanks to KEIRA..it's now all so ....perfect!

I love this story anyway, but Knightly and Macfadyen are so great in this remake of the Austen classic that you will have to own it. The choreography, settings and direction in this film are really outstanding. The ultimate romance! Ladies, this one is a must.

Engaging adaptation of the Jane Austen classic is given peppy treatment by director Joe Wright; Keira Knightley is perfectly infectious as Lizzie and is surrounded by a good supporting cast. Final Grade: B+

Absolutly loved this movie. Keira Knightley did an excellent job playing Elizabeth Bennet.
