Paradise Now has truckloads of quotable lines -"Resistance can take many forms." "Life is full of surprises." "One day things will be better." - Suha, Said ""A life without dignity is worthless. Boring, like life." .Jamal - "A good education is important." "The world changes." - Said's Mommy. Director uses the camera to portray the characters facial expressions. This thriller is an emotional roller coaster and has themes of brotherhood, transformation, loyalty, political and religious overtones meshed with a romantic angle. Riveting and engaging from start to finish. Truly one of the best politically motivated pictures this reviewer has seen.

I saw a five minute clip of this and it looked interesting. Unfortunately, it failed to capture my interest when I saw the whole thing. The guys in this movie seemed cute, but that's not a good reason to see a terrorist movie. This was also nominated for Best Foreign Picture.
