What I like about this movie is that it didn't force to have a "happy ending", but something legit and understandable resolution.

I love this movie and dont know anybody who doesnt. Men may think it is too much of a chick flick but it is soo touching and emotional. Be ready to bawl!

Not a bad movie. Although, considering that it has both Hilary Swank and Kathy Bates in it, it really should have been better.

I thought this was a sweet movie. I really felt Swank's pain in this. This was really well-done.

I loved this movie. I liked the idea of leaving behind something for your loved ones to help get over you. I cried a lot during this movie, so if you haven't seen it i highly recommend it!

The film starts out trying to focus on the realistic fighting of a marriage, and simply annoys the viewers right away. The film gets better, but the main fault here is casting. Hilary Swank doesn't do well as the typical romantic comedy role. She is a terrific actress whom typically strong dramas, as stronger and more complex female characters. The rest of the cast, such as Kathy Bates and Lisa Kudrow, do excellent supporting work. All of this teamed up with Harry Connick Jr.'s less than stellar performance in a basically pointless role, throws this one to the curb, where it belongs when there are better and more romantic films out there, such at Atonement.

not enough of gerard butler. I liked this movie the journey to heal after losing someone really touched me. Also she watches a bunch of old movies, all of which I recognized, it made me happy. The end is a little trite, but on the whole a watchable movie. Any guys around shoudn't be to tortured by it. It makes me wish that the people I've lost in my life would have written letters to me.

I don't have a review yet... but I just wanted to say that this was a good book and my "guy" friends made fun of me for reading it and literally LAUGHED in my face and pretty much said that life doesn't happen this way. Well, I know that - this is a fictional story and the reactions I recieved pretty much sealed the fact that true love is VERY HARD TO FIND - especially when guys stomp on your ego! ok... sorry... but GIRLS, SEE THIS MOVIE I'm sure its good! = )
