Nicole Kidman is a Goddess, but this movie wasn't her best film. The acting was incredible, as was the writing, though the direction causes me to take away what could have been a perfect score of 4 stars. What makes this movie so memorable of course is the incredible ending which one must see to believe. I loved this movie.

I really liked it, despite feeling stupid for doing so. Alejandro Amenabar is one of those underrated directors that I wish we'd see more from. I saw this at night so of course I was a tad more scared than I'd be otherwise. Nicole Kidman is great.

I have not seen it since it came out 6 years ago - but back then it was pretty damn good. Though, it is some what of a sixth sense rip of, it is frightening at times and at other times it is tense. What can I say, I liked it. Will you?

Maybe I'm too jaded or just too damn smart for my own good. I figured out what was happening 15 minutes into this movie, and the enjoyment level dropped precipitously from there. While the atmosphere is great - and there are some genuinely creepy scenes, overall I just didn't get why so many people were hyped up about this film. It's serviceable, but nothing special.
