I feel like if this movie had come out about the time The Nutty Professor came out it would have done better. The makeup they did for the the various Eddie Murphy characters was good and very realistic. That was the only positive in the movie though. I had a hard time identifying with any of the characters and in all honesty found Norbit annoying. The only more annoying character was Rasputia. It makes me sad the Cuba Gooding Jr. was in this and it makes me really sad that Eddie Murphy feels like he has to go back to his old ways to re-make his career instead of moving forward as an actor.

Norbit is a another terrible "comedy" that relys on crude humor for cheap laughs. Here is another badly directed (by Brian Robbins) and written (by Eddie and Charles Murphy) movie. For probably the first time ever, ALL of Eddie Murphy's characters(Norbit, Rasputia and Mr. Wong) are annoying, in fact, the entire cast is annoying except for Thandie Newton who gives the only good performance in this time wasting movie. The story is terrible and the laughs are few and far between. There is nothing appealing about this movie. It's by far one of 2007's worst.

Once in a while a movie comes a long that shakes the ground with putrid,rancid,Filth you might ask yourself what movie am i talking about what movie is so discussing that there is no good an of words to describe how bad it is.Yes people if you have guessed the movie norbit then you are indeed correct. First of all there are no word in the English language (or any other language) to describe how insulting this foul thing you call a movie is. This movie not only insults anyone who is overweight or obese but it also effects anyone who is not the perfect size to feel life crap about themselves. I would give it 1 star it deserves worse but the one star is the lowest rating there is.

Norbi humm where can i start i would have no idea . look i saw it the first time before it got tons of razzies i thougt it was quite funny then like half a year later or so it got tons of rtazzie's and i thougt that eddie murphy wasn't that bad i just think the razzie board (they dedicde who wins it) i think they are pathetic and they just hate eddie murpy cus he got an award for 'worst supporting actress' i mean com'on give him a break then i thougt okay maybe its is bad but i just saw it yesterday two years later of the release and i changed my mind it still is okay

Not all that great, but okay. It's funny, but not funny enough to laugh out loud at. Its about a guy who lived in an orphanage when he was little, and became best friends with another little girl who also lived there. But then the girl gets adopted, and he doesn't see her again until they are older, and she is really beautiful. But, the problem is, his MASSIVE, controlling wife. And, or course, by the end of the movie, him and his childhood friend lived happily ever after. The end. Alright, I guess. Watch it if your looking for a laugh, not if your looking for a movie with a good storyline.

Similar to the nutty professor... which means guy wants girl, guy cant have girl, guy finds a way to get girl.... yea i think that sums it up. not a horrible movie but not anything to write home about. Eddie Murphy has definately had better movies with better jokes and a better plot.
