This is one of the best horror sequels to a horror masterpiece! Nancy Thompson returns to help troubled teens battle Freddy Krueger, using dream powers. Fun characters, interesting deaths, and nice story.

Nancy Thompson is back, but this time to help some troubled teens fight back against Freddy and his razor hands. This movie is enjoyable and cool to watch.

Action: 3/3 + Comedy: 0/2 + Love/Sex: 1/1 + Plot: 0.5/1 + Music: 1/1 + Good vs. Evil: 1/1 + Special Effects: 0.5/1 = 7/10 or 70%. We finally get the special effects that get to show some actual fun and wonders within the dreams of insane asylum inmates that are battling Freddy. One teenager becomes a wizard ala D&D while another is dangled like a puppet by a giant Freddy who, instead of strings, uses his veins. It's the pure kinectic energy we all thought 2 would hold and we also get a completely crazy back story on Freddy's birth.

I always though Nightmare held up better than other slasher series. Even in this third installment, they keep things on pace. Freddy is still entertaining (as are the deaths) and the story isn't too bad. A good entry.

One of my favorites in the Nightmare installments. Just a lot of fun to watch, not really too great of a movie, but Freddy really develops a personality in this one.
