Levy... he seems to have a touch for family and comedy, but it seems to always lack of convincing, strong script. I loved the honest aproach the movie made to the history and stuff, in a lot of momments was very naive, almost dumb. CGI is cool, acting is average, but it has some cool momments. I really really loved the score. Silvestri did fantastic, and it seemed a scored from another movie. For momments was like too much wow... It was a too big score, for an ok flick.

Good but not great. This has its moments and a nice relationship beign built by a father and his son. Otheriwse it is a bit slow at times and not one of Ben Stillers best. I owuldn't call it a must see but it is not a waste fo time either. If you are in the mood for a good movie that is not Academy Award worthy, you could do much worse.

If like me, you've got little kids and are looking for a film that you can enjoy (almost) as much as they do, then Night at the Museum is for you. Its EXACTLY what you would expect it is. No intrigue, plot twists or even plot for that matter. Just good ol' special effects and a goofy guy whom you could never, ever ever picture as a security guard in real life... but who cares.

Not the greatest film ever, but good for families and a nice little comedy/adventure with an interesting concept and some great special effects utilized in interesting ways. It's not highbrow, but its a fun way to spend an hour or so.
