A fairly effective film in showing the harsh troubles the British civilians had to face form the Nazi's blitzkrieg. It shows that people do die from it but it is pro it incredibly which I do not mind because it is World War 2 after all and the Nazi's intent was to kill. It is fairly good, dated to a degree but still fine. It does not really get into who is attacking in terms of the Nazi's it stays really at home the whole time and it works well enough.

Oscar Nominee Best Actor Walter Pidgeon 2/5- There is not anything special about his performance here. He does not anything for anything really. He never seems to important to the story and the film and did not even notice him in the film that much. He is not bad at all just lacks anything notable about his performance.
