Interesting film about the conflicts of a woman within her family. Huppert is making lately conflictuated woman, full of tension and repressed feelings. Nice french thriller, nothing over top. Well done.

This is a good Claude Chabrol film. Isabelle Huppert plays a strange step-mother trying to seduce her step-son with hot chocolate. The film gets stranger with a switched at bitch sequence. The ending is sort of disappointing, because you never find out certain things. But the last scene is haunting.
