A man with short-term amnesia seeks vengeance for what he believes to be his wife's murder.
Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) and his wife (Jorja Fox) are the victims of a brutal crime, his wife is raped and murder and he is left without any short term memory. With the last thought being of his wife dying, Leonard sets off on a revenge mission to find and kill the perpetrator.
