I can remember just barely liking this movie a little bit. It just wasn't what I thought it'd be.

Aliens, skelitons, a dog bodied TV reporter falling in love with a bodieless James Bond. This is Tim Burton at his Very best. A little violent for a twelve A but however its funny, sharp and well written. We follow the story of the president (Jack Nicholson), a few people trying to escape the Martians, people being held hostage by Martians and the boy who finds our how to defeat them. I love the colourfullness and fun feeling in this film.

My favorite Tim Burton movie. Not only are the actors great, but several of the good actors were in the film before they became stars (not Jack Nicholson of course ;) ). Good times. I saw this movie twice within a week when it was at the theaters. Rewatching it about 2 years ago, my sister was trying to imitate Annette Bening's laugh. Good times.

This is Tim Burton's loopiest film. The best thing going for Mars Attacks! is the stellar cast - there are plenty of familiar faces, some in cameos, some in major roles but all appreciated. It's not his best work, but it's entertaining.
