This movie was really a pleasant surprise. It was just a little bit too sappy though.

This was a touching story about a father who is dying of cancer trying to spend his last few months alive by reaching out to drug-addicted teenage son by building a house with him. The actual movie is not as intense as its description, because I think the relationships were a bit rushed. This movie is centered around relationships so some of the connections needed a little more smoothing out. But it is still something nice to watch if you are looking for something bitter sweet.
