Timothy Dalton, the most underrated of all the Bonds, makes use of 007's license to kill in one of his most ruthless outings.

first of all this film is no way pg 13.its should have been strong rated R its a wrong rating.its got voilence and great action, acting and music my god its timothy dalton,if james bond was real it would be timothy dalton and he proves it in this film.for 1989 this is amazing.imagine the people who saw this film in theater cinema when it was released.this one also needs a new 4k video transfer and audio transfer with dts and dolby atmos mix, with new technology,in my opinion this film needs to be re released in cinemas again world wide.its a classic.the best part was in the end fight climax dalton was doing a wheelie on Oil tanker LOL.

Having Bond go rogue is a nice idea on paper, but Timothy Dalton's tour as Bond is promptly scuppered by a script with all the subtlety of Bernard Manning with a sledgehammer. A shame, as The Living Daylights was really rather good.

This reviewer feels that Majesty's Secret Service was much better than this film. Its pace of the story wanders, lead not as engaging as the other artists who portrayed Bond and the score not as interesting. A more angst inspired Bond with wonderful stunts only shadowed by the overall execution, License to Kill was not a well made Bond film.

It's another standout in the series (like Majesty's Secret Service), but it works for me. I enjoyed it more than most Bond fans.

Timothy Dalton was never my favorite Bond. While License to Kill has plenty of action, it never really fits into that James Bond mold.

This Bond is far more violent than most Bonds you might see especailly involving the graphic nature of the violence. The violent is a bit too much actually and the two newewst bonds actually show how you can be more violent without be distasetful like how some of the violence is in this one. That aside the plot is semi interesting the action scenes are okay, as is the villian and Bond himself is fine by Dalton as a different kind of Bond. It is not great but it is okay basically. A side note is this film really sticks as being made in the late eighties by its music and its look.

With the exception of Sean Connery ones, and some of the Roger Moore's, most of the Bond flicks prety much sucks. (I watch them out of fun) This one sucks, and also does all that Dalton moran did. Long life to Bourne.
