Really interesting movie for once! Gosling is beeing a very weird, but kinda cute guy, and is great at it! I guess this movie can be a bit too weird for some people, but you might love it ;) You can feel the love in how the people around him try to everything to help him, it is a great cast. Worth the watch!

Gosling is the man. But this movie was a painfully weird watch. I couldn't get into the plot. It was too out there for me. But it is definitely worth a watch because it is well put together and will find its audience.

Ryan Gosling proves yet again that he is capable of the most nuanced and interesting performances. The film is a little weird to start, mainly because of the premise, but it ends on an inspiring note. It's also pretty funny at times, in an unassuming way.

This movie has to be the most $%^#% up romantic dramedy ever made.I think if they changed some things around they couldve turned it into a great horror flick also (Lars gets laughed at by everybody in Town,Snaps & just starts killing people) Good movie though but NOT as good as I heard it was gonna be

A wonderfully bright comedy that was oddly touching. Ryan Gosling in 2007's "Lars and the Real Girl" has by far one of the best performances of the year, which makes me wonder why he hasn't allowed himself more freedom to do independent films like this one more often. The premise of the film is heartwarming and at times the most quirky and vivid type of film. A great hidden gem of a film, as the great Leonard Maltin would say.

Ryan Gosling gives an absolutely brilliant performance. I found myself laughing, yet felt bad about it. You shouldn't laugh at a man with problems, but the fact everyone accepted it may have been a stretch. Still, it was a good time.

Lars and the Real Girl has an amazing script and cast. Ryan Gosling is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite actors.

Ryan Gosling can almost never do any wrong. He did an excellent job with the character in this movie. The supporting cast also did a great job. There was a lot of dry humor as well as saddness. I think it was a little crazy that the whole town started treating the doll like it was real even when Lars wasn't around, but it was still good. I think I saw a lifetime movie with something similar. Except instead of an a man being in love with a doll, it was a woman and an imaginary son. Same ending too, ((SPOILER)) got sick...died. So, I don't know if the idea was completely original, but what is nowadways anyway. This was good stuff though.

This movie definitely had its moments. I laughed my ass off when they introduced his girlfriend. Quality film, dry humor, good drama.

I wanted to see this movie because people hyped it up saying it was the best movie since the notebook as far as romance goes, but this movie left me wondering whether I hated it or actually thought it was ok.
