The intrepid adventurer Lara Croft has stumbled on the find of a lifetime: the location of the fabled Pandora's Box. But when an evil scientist also uncovers the secret, he plans to sell the device as the ultimate weapon. Croft is charged by British Intelligence to stop him - and she teams up with a mercenary (and former lover) on a globe-trotting journey to prevent catastrophe. This movie was bad just bad but Angelina Jolie played a alright Lara Croft but the rest of the movie was lame.

A video game movie that spawned a sequel?! Still like Angelina Jolie in the main role, but the film is just kind of a mess. Still has the action, but never really goes anywhere. Kind of like the games - so in essence is succeeds in its failure.

Lara Croft saves the world again and gets to wear tight clothes. Good action. It's a story, folks. Don't be afraid of Pandora's Box.

Just a host of wanna be James Bond/Indiana Jones action scenes mishmashed together. The plot doesn't matter and the characters are all thin carciatures of characters from other, better films of the same genre.

You may want to watch this movie if you liked the first Lara Croft movie. Sequels, they say, are never as good as the first one. This film seems to have taken extra efforts to prove it. Very badly edited - to begin with. It is chaotic on the eyes - doesn't help you seamlessly move from one shot to another. You have to keep asking yourself, what happened the previous shot. Gerard Butler is wasted - I have no idea why he was there in the movie.
