John Goodman is very funny as an uncouth American elevated to British royalty. Peter O'Toole offers some dry wit to balance out Goodman's antics. The rest of the movie is your basic fish-out-of-water story. It's not awful but not necessarily original in how things work out.

Completely predictable American class comedy that's wall-to-wall cliches. Goodman is always watchable, but he's got very little to work with here.

This reviewer recalls laughing and enjoying the premise of the film. Almost an all star cast. John Goodman can carry a film. King Ralph is a hilarious film and can be enjoyed.

A good movie about a common king. I really enjoyed this movie. It was a bit silly but an over all good movie.
