Amusing, if never hilarious family comedy that tries too hard to teach too many valuable lessons. Here's an idea: give us a movie where the underdogs learn their lesson, but still don't win "The Big Game". Will Ferrell is affable as ever, but the progression by which the Tigers rise in the rankings is very unbelievable. FInal Grade: C+

This movie was a really different role for Will Ferrell. Although Will was still funny it was different then his roles in movies like Old School and Ricky Bobby. I though it was good to see Will in a father role and he did a great job.This was a good family movie and I really enjoyed it.
