"Jurassic Park III" has even less magic in it that "Lost World."

I recently re-watched Jurassic Park 3 and it was better then I remembered it. Not good enough to change my rating, but good enough for a quite Sunday afternoon. Probably better with the right age child to watch it with. One that would jump at the right spots and not be annoyed by people doing stupid things.

The corporate cash cowasaurus once again terrorizes the cinema-going public with another grimly inevitable sequel. And who'd have thought watching giant lizards eating people could be so dull? The script is episodic and unimaginative, the characters uninteresting cliches and it's pacing is dreadful. The action and effects are executed with workmanlike efficiency, but there is zero suspense and less in the way of surprises. One idea is sometimes enough to carry one film, but three? This franchise really is running on empty, so if you really want to see yet more people screaming and running around in a jungle, go for King Kong. It's far, far better than this cinematic theme park ride.

Much more adventurous outing after the constant 'stop-and-go' of the second film. They don't waste much time with story or characters here. It's mostly a 'run from the monsters' flick. Not even close to the excitement of the first Jurassic Park, but worth some dumb fun.

Despite introducing flying dinosaurs to this movie, the third Jurassic Park is missing the tension and pure entertainment of the first two films and seems to be just going through the motions.

Jurassic Park 3 is an entertaining but worn out installment. With a new director(Joe Johnston) taking over for Steven Spielberg, we almost get the same premise here, that we get from the first two films. It's still fun and intense, but there is still no plot, and the script is bad. all of the freshness and originality that made the first one great and the second average, is gone here. William H. Macy and Tea Leoni are a nice addition to the film and give good performances, but even they can't save it.

Enredo genérico, que não faz a "mitologia" da série andar, aniquila o potencial de um capítulo relevante para a franquia. Apesar dos pesares, funciona como entretenimento familiar decente.

This one was really stretching for a way to cash in on the Jurassic Park phenomena. Leoni was really annoying. They didn't come up with enough new things to make this work.

Slips yet lower on the Jurassic Park scale. Though there's plenty of action here, there's no heart. Even though it's technically more advanced, I preferred the dinos in the first two films.
