The fascinating nature of this courtroom drama is framed within the horrific nature of the crimes it explores. The gravity and humanity that all the actors portray, including the German attorneys, elevates the film above a standard legal drama into a film that explores true themes of justice and mercy.

A long movie, that seems to have a good story going during the first part. If you are interested in long winded court room dramas, this is for you. There were some shining moments, but in the end, I don't think I need to see this again.
