A thoughtful and philosophical film buried within a madcap comedy. David O. Russell directs the film with a manic energy and pace that may tempt the viewer to overlook the subtle smartness of the script.

What do I like about this movie, besides the very cute Jason Schwartzman? Hmm. Everything! This film has my favorite actress Isabelle Huppert and my favorite guilty pleasure actress, Naomi Watts. Dustin Hoffman and Lily Tomlin are a treat I looked forward to it and it delievered. What Movies Teach Us: Jude Law has breasts.

The only member of the cast who handed in a performance with which he could be proud was Mark Wahlberg. No joke.
