This movie.... is one of my favorite harry potter movies. but I have to look at this in a different perspective. I'm going to look at how is the story, writing and the characters and how the editing and the camera work. Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. it is a character transition movie. Harry, Ron, Hermione are going from their kids years at Hogwarts to their ten years, looking at people in a different way as well as doing and reacting to situations differently. whats the story. well instead of being with the Dursleys. THANK GOD. harry is already in the wizarding work with Ron and Hermione aking both of them up for a quidditch game. before that. Harry has a dream of a man getting killed by Voldemort and then harry wakes up. the movie goes more in depth on how these dreams come into …

Another Great Potter Film

Well, here I am reviewing another Harry Potter film- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - trying to narrow down what makes them so entertaining. Is it the story? For while the story for the first film was a bit weak, they've certainly improved as the series continues. Is it the characters? I can complain all I like about how little screen time some of them get (and indeed, this problem plagues this chapter as well), but those complaints do stem from a love for the characters in the film. Of course, there is the music, the visuals, and the storybook feel that all of the films seem to possess. Flaws aside, the Harry Potter films have given me many reasons to return to Hogwarts, and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is no exception.

Still getting better

The movie is amazing. I will admit that anyone that is a die hard fan of the books, and want the films to follow the exact path of the novels is going to complain. Mike Newell's screenplay writer took a lot of liberties with this film and decided to change some things up to keep time within reason. The sad thing is that after Christopher Colombus left this is the second replacement director, and also the second screenwriter to make a number of adjustments to an already good story. The first reason for the adjustments was to fill all of the holes that were left or story lines that were never touched upon that were suppsoed to be in the previous film. Then to keep it moving, there was a lot of hack and slash of certain plot points that could have been left in without dramatically …
