A unique type of movie filled with screwy antics and a number of The Beatles' earliest hits, "A Hard Days Night" is an important piece of both music and film history.

A film about one of the, if not the most influential bands that have assembled. Had a few silly moments and at times music video type scenes but it was great seeing them act in-front of the camera. I am a generation x film addict who digs new wave and alternative music, but I am likewise a Beatles admirer. The actor who played the role of Paul's grandfather was convincing. A movie that takes a closer look at the fab four in London to perform a TV show. John, Paul, George and Ringo's personalities and music were enough to enjoy this comedic take in the life of a The Beatles.

A great time capsule for anyone who loves music and music history. It's part documentary, part surreal comedy, part performance film. A send-up of the Beatles' popularity that also serves as a great reminder for how humongous the band actually was. A good film, but a great one for anyone who loves the Beatles. (I do.)

Great music! Great fun! Gear fab, wot? A movie my grown daughter (who envies my being around for Beatlemania) and I can enjoy together.

You know what I love? The Beatles. You know what else I love? Movies. Hence, a movie about the Beatles is the movie for me. Not only is this a great musical with a kick ass soundtrack consisting of some of the best Beatles tunes, but its also one of the funniest movies ever. The humor in the film is very similar to that of early Marx Bros. and Charlie Chaplin. The Beatles practically parody themselves throughout the whole thing and are all actually fine actors. The script is interesting in that it follows a day in the life of the Beatles as they run into countless gags and get into all types of mischief. Not much to say except that if you like the Beatles or rock music in general, you should enjoy "A Hard Day's Night."
