Laurie Strode must face her worst fears once again. This time she is a teacher at a private school but the killer is the same. The jump scares in this movie is really annoying and ruined the horror feel of a Halloween film.

Irrelevant resurrection of Michael Myers that "reinvents" the franchise by making it exactly the same as all the others. Utterly predictable tosh.

Not entirely bad, but don't expect much.

One of the more memorable sequels, in the 'Halloween' cannon. It simultaneously gives the series a modern (late 90's) update, while attempting bring back some tension. The highlight of the film is the climax, in which Laurie stops running and faces off with Michael. The final seconds are so satisfying that it pained me to know there was yet another sequel to follow this one.

I actually liked this sequel of "Halloween," when all that I've seen of horror sequels is a diluted version of the original story and more attempts at thrills. However, this film actually grabbed me, but there can never be another "Halloween" movie ever again. This dude is dead and went out with a considerable bang. Way to go, moviemakers. Way to go. Stop while you're ahead [sees in the future still more to come and sighs off and shoots himself].

Why bring back Michael Meyers and the Halloween franchise one more time? Because someone wanted more money. Aside from Jamie Lee Curtis, there is nothing to connect to the original Halloween - and even that link is lame. Stay away.
