"The Great Mouse Detective" feels more like one of the many Disney impersonators than one of the studio's own, but it's not without its charms.

Worth it for the wonderful Sherlockian references, especially to Billy Wilder, and Vincent Price's turn as the villain.

I really dug this, as a kid, and I still admire it today. The characters are so good and the climax is actually exciting. An underrated Disney gem.

There's some inventive animation and plot points in this sometimes clever take on Sherlock Holmes. It isn't one of the great Disney films, but it produces enough charm and wit (especially when it smartly transposes detective genre cliches into the rodent world), that it definitely is entertaining.

Not a bad Disney film, but not amongst my favorites. While I think it's better for the younger set, to me it just doesn't hold up for adults. All in all a mediocre effort.

Just an absolute great kids movie. I used to watch this movie all the time and enjoyed it when I saw it the other day. It is definately one that my kids will see!

A fun adventure. Lots of laughs and a great bad guy.
