I can't help but feel award season overhyped this one. Although a respectable film, "Manchester By the Sea" uses nearly every heartstring-tugging cliche out there.

Casey Affleck's performance in Manchester By the Sea.is subtle, yet effective. Michelle Williams was also powerful in small role Director and screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan slowly builds the story and blends the warm and heartbreaking dialogue to masterfully.
