"Welcome to... Fright... Night! For real." Nothing more than a fun 80's horror movie with great make-up, but of course it being a vampire movie, it had its elements of Hornyness. Also, Chris Sarandon kind of looks like he could be related to Mark Ruffalo.

Combining the classic vampire film tropes with the fun of eighties teen comedies with successful results, FRIGHT NIGHT is a creepy good time.

to be honest im a huge 80's lover.but this film lacked in comedy and horror.it didn't feel like a good chessy 80's movie, which I wanted.it had it's good moments, but moslty it's bad ones.and by the time the film ends, you kind of forget about it.unusaul for 80's films.

Vastly underrated Vampire movie that is stylish, cool and highly memorable. A simplistic premise (Good vs. Evil) which pays homage to the old horror flicks. Fright Night benefits from two superb central performances, Chris Sarandon is mesmerising in a Christopher Lee type role and Roddy McDowell chews the scenery as a cross between Peter Cushing and Vincent Price, hence his characters name, Peter Vincent. Unleashing a barrage of (very good)special effects later in the film, the director Tom Holland carefully constructs an old fashioned tale of terror which never fails to enthral and entice the audience resulting in one of the very best Horror films of the 80s.

A great little vampire movie. Throwback to the old dracula movies, but also new and somewhat upbeat, for the time it was released. Holds up fairly well today. Never feels cheesy and is mostly scary at least in the first half.

Great vampire flick! I love this thing. I remember watching it when I was little and loving it, then when I got to the age of actually 'watching' a movie for it's elements, I still enjoyed it! That says something for a film if it withstand time like that. This could be my oldest favorite movie. If that makes sense.

When this came out in the 80s, it was a great scary movie. Providing plenty of laughs and still enough scares to make it an all-around good show.

One of the better vampire genre films. It doesn't take itself too seriously, yet offers some good scares along with a clever story. John Landis may do it better, but this is still a deft mix of horror and comedy.
