This film is more focused on creating gory set pieces than on actually creating the scary scenes of tension that the first film manages to generate. The original Exorcist is one of the scariest movies ever made. This film may be one of the silliest.

I actually thought this movie was pretty good. But then again, I love the Exorcist series.... Except for the second one.

I decided to rewatch this film because I thought it was boring the first time. Guess what? The second viewing is just as bad. During its first few scenes, I thought it had promise. But then half-way through the film, I was exhausted and bored. The "twist" they had at the end made no sense whatsoever; I actually caught myself rolling my eyes because it was so stupid. If it weren't for the first half of this movie, I would have given this a one star out of four. I have nothing more to say because the film is empty and unnecessary.
