Eh, its a good movie. But this is one of those films you lie to your girlfriend about liking. I just never saw anything great about. Still, its a classic. I respect it.

I thought this movie was okay, certainly astounding for the time in which it was made, but likewise, I wasn't thoroughly impressed.

A good story of a boy and his alien. It still holds up as a great children/family movie and a good sci-fi story. The acting is really good and the casting is great.

This and Stand by Me are my two most favourite films of all time. The greatest living Director, working alongside the greatest ever original film score, just equals cinematic magic. The film never puts a foot wrong, and the sincerity injected into each and every scene is just something special. Now i'm talking about the original 1982 version , not the re-released touch up. That does have flaws. But forget about that one, this is a remarkable piece of film.

The classic 80's movie. If you don't love this movie, then you just don't have a soul. PERIOD! By the way, I don't think that the moon is ever that big.

This movie is a classic. We got to see the beginnings of Drew Barrymore's acting career, as well as fall in love with a cute little alien. Now, when we go back and watch it, some of us might say, wow there were some corny parts or cheesy animatronics. But that is alright. This movie is still memorable, and one of the movies that was a great movie directed by Steven Spielberg.

This film blew everyone away when it came out. So fun, funny, thrilling and even scary. Henry Thomas and Drew Barrymore gave great performances. Still a great film for everyone.

I don't like when Spielberg touches me. It makes me feel uncomfortable. Especially when he asks me to touch him back. Last time he made me put it in my mouth. Maybe i should tell someone...

Sweet, but not overly sentimental, E.T. is a classic family film that you can, and should watch, on a fairly recent basis. You may think you can grow too old for this movie, but you never will.

Spielberg has a special touch, and when he applies it in the right way it is near perfect. The problem with many of his movies is that they don't ever blow you away (there are a few exceptions). This movie is a lot of fun to watch the first time, but the more you watch it looses value fast. Still EVERYONE should see this.
