Although the plot isn't exactly original (conspiracy where the good guy and bad guy must join forces - and, of course, each loses someone close to them in the process) - the cast is pretty outstanding with James McAvoy, Mark Strong, Andrea Riseborough and David Morrissey especially standing out. It has plenty of action and gun fights (despite taking place in the UK where guns are somewhat harder to come by - but that plays into the plot as well). If you like action - it will suffice.

When a dangerous criminal is forced to return to London, the detective determined to capture the man has his chance to take down the man who he has been hunting. This movie was a slow build up to a slow ending.

About as straight-forward of a crime movie as you could get. More or less a compilation of a mediocre story in order to string together obligatory shootouts. The acting and directing are decent and the film looks slick, but it feels hollow.
