It glares you in the face with an emotionally troubling plot filled with ethical complexities. A great modern mystery with family in crisis drama driving it every step of the way.

This is the best example of a good movie with a crap ending. One of the best movie ensemble I've seen. If you want a thriller-heavy drama movie, this would be good for you. Brilliant cinematography!

Prisoners is a excellent, dark film about the kidnapping of two young girls. Hugh Jackman is great as the father of one of the girls, who will do anything to get his daughter back home safe. Jake Gyllenhaal matches him with a great performance as the lead detective on the case. The atmosphere is gloomy throughout and matches the tone of the movie perfectly, One of the best films of 2013.
