interesting but lame ending. over and over, same ingredients: music crescendo at key moments, the dark, blabla.I am sorry. for the audience. I am not scarded of say it. yours, Seven.

Mama is far from perfect, but it still shows that more thought and care was put into it than any other run of the mill horror story. It may not be scary, but as a sort of Grimm fairy tell it certainly works. It would have been nice if less CGI had been used for the titular monster (and if it wasn't shown so openly.) Still, in the movie wasteland that is January, Mama rises above. It isn't a horror classic, but at least it tries.
