It's all been seen before, but it's still outrageously funny.

A by-the-books FBI agent must team up with a hot-headed Boston cop in order to bring down a dangerous drug lord. The only problem is the two women have never had a partner, nor even a true friend in their lives, and must somehow make their incompatible personalities work. this movie was actually pretty funny.I mean bullock and McCarthy work well together in this movie.

Hilarious, I really hope we see more of McCarthy/Bullock, their dynamic is really good. Their a great duo, reminds me a little of Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys. If you liked that movie you will like this as well.

Melissa McCarthy does a great job as a loud, rough-around-the-edges Boston cop. She and Sandra Bullock play well off of each other and there are some great one-liners throughout the movie. Even the plot about trying to arrest the main drug dealer was pretty good. Kind of more of a chick-flick; I didn't see many guys in the theater.

Funny and good plot. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy are a good comedy team. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good laugh

If you stripped away the comedy, this film would be a completely predictable/forgettable fare. Thankfully, 'The Heat' delivers the laughs. McCarthy is a walking one-liner and Bullock's quirky persona provides a great counterpoint. The two of them share some truly funny scenes together. The crime plot is not the most understandable, but it becomes inconsequential amidst the hilarious nonsense. My only major complaint is the slightly hackneyed beginning (roughly twenty minutes) that starts the movie off in a so-so way. However, after the setup is done, it turns into a fast-firing joke machine. I enjoyed this much more than I anticipated and for that reason I give it a solid recommendation.

I enjoyed it a lot. I just wish the plot would've been more dramatic or funnier.
