What a let down this movie was.die hard 2. okay am just going to say this I hate this movie.this movie was forgettable and john mcClane was not really funny in this movie.and this movie will get a 1/4 star's "don't watch or buy this movie".

A reasonable sequel that suffers mainly for the fact that Willis is not trapped this time, which removes the claustrophobia and panic from the equation. Some of the dialogue is rather clumsy and the one liners lack the wit of the original film, but William Sadler makes a entertainingly cold-blooded villain. An efficient action film but it's not in the same league as the original.

There really isn't any substitute for the badass-ness of the first Die Hard's setting and Alan Rickman's chilling Hans Gruber, but this sequel does an admirable job of ramping up the adrenaline-fueled stunts. It's a fun second film that repeats a lot of the first's tricks, but still is never boring or too silly.

Die Hard 2: Die Harder is a semi entertaining, yet very unbelievable sequel that doesn't manage to live up to the first film's expectations. This film has not logic what-so-ever, but does manage to provide a lot of pretty good action, even if it is violent. This movie is slow paced, badly written and directed. Not to mention that Dennis Franz's character is very annoying. What a shame.

I always thought this was the worst of the Die Hards, but seeing it again recently, it was still a great adrenaline rush. While the original may have it beat, this still proves to be a great action/thriller with a mighty nice twist.
