With all the hype, I expected more from this movie. If anything, it was over-the-top and tried too hard. I thought DiCaprio's performance was great. Nicholson was just the same-old Nicholson. Pretty graphic.

I'm pretty shocked that this movie won best picture and 4 other oscars. Must have been a pretty lousy year. This movie is anything but bad but it isn't that good everybody claims it to be. Way overrated!

Awesome acting by everyone involved. Not my favorite Scorsese film, but one of his best. A must see for all.

After two viewings, I've decided this is very entertaining, despite several plotholes. Still, the movie is responsible for garnering a Best Director award from the Academy to Martin Scorsese. While he deserved it for Goodfellas, I've never been so happy for a win in my life. One of the few remakes that is better than the original.

the reason this is by far number one on my list is because, this movie had everything. It had great acting by an all star cast of greatS including Jack Nicholson. it had a great director at the helm Mr. Martin Scorsese. It had non stop surprises it had every type of movie effects in. It is mainly about to cops, just out of the academy one cop is put undercover to infiltrate the mob, the other is all ready in the mob to infiltrate the cops and that is where i stop if you want to know more watch the movie

It's no wonder Scorsese finally won an Oscar for this - amazing direction, great acting and a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way up to the last scene. An amazing film you have to experience.

Such a fantastic movie. One of Nicholson's best roles and the Damon/DiCaprio character paradox kept things interesting until the end. The accents weren't the best, but believable enough. Walhberg's character was awesome!

The best movie of 2006 so far! Performances are top notch, and as always with Marty, the cinematography and music are top notch? Is this one worthy of the top 100? I think so!
