The same mediocre charade for the third time

The Hangover Part III puts us back into the presence of the wolf pack, which is beginning to become a little boring.
I'll be honest: I'm tired of the Hangover movies. The first was something original and had likable characters. The sequel was a waste of time, we didn't need it. The third in the trilogy: The same scenario.
It has moments of laughter and chuckles, but most of the time it's the same charade all over again. Plus, Ken Jeong's typecasting (more on that later) and the character of Alan really started getting on my nerves.
It is also the unfunniest of the trilogy. Rarely did the comedic moments fall into place or have a good length, they seemed to drag on.

Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) escapes from prison. Alan's (Zach Galifianakis) father passes away. Doug (Justin Bartha) invites Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Stu (Ed Helms) that Alan has been off his ADHD medication and is out of control and wants to bring Alan to Arizona for treatment. Marshall (John Goodman) and "Black Doug" (Mike Epps) abduct the group of friends. Leslie stole $21 million dollars worth of gold from Marshall. Soundtrack was rocking and it was great to see John Goodman here. It was nice to have more of Leslie Chow but less of the humor and craziness of the Wolfpack. As always, Doug is the miscast. It shows that a zany ADHD can transform, a crazed criminal can have a heart and that friendship never ends (which is always the themes of the franchise. More of a crime flick …

Remember how great The Hangover was? How unpredictable, how out-of-control, and above all, how hysterical it was? Remember how exhilarated and out of breath you were when it ended? Remember the gallons of respect you've gained for director Todd Phillips after you watched it? Then remember how you questioned The Hangover 2 when it was first announced and you were curious to see what they'd do with it? Remember after watching the trailer, you had the highest of all hopes? Then after watching the movie, remember how sad and letdown you were due to the fact that there wasn't much of anything lively or outrageous in that film?
