This movie makes you want to live everyday like its your last. It starts with just a group of over achievers that you think they are going to be stuck up and arrogant, but that is not the case in most of the characters. I really was interested in every character. Peter Weir showed you just enough for you to feel there pain and where the motivation of having this Dead Poets' Society is coming from. This is an incredible movie. One of my favorite movies of all time.

This was a good movie..but my english teacher killed it with the whole connecting it to Transadentislm. But good concept, good plot. The only thing i didn't like was that they picked Robin Willams, i think they could of done a better job

This film, while not spectacular in special effects or avant gard in filmming technics, I mean even it could be averagely done in every possible way, holds a special place in my heart. The whole thing has a purpose, and achieves it correctly, with no flaws. I think this might be Robin Williams' best. Peter Weir is a great director.

This will always be a great movie in my opinion. It has some great acting and a good Robin Williams character, not a dumb, goofy one like he is best known for. The thing I like most about this film is it shows the bond that people have when they are part of something bigger than themselves. This is a common theme with war and sports movies but it has never been done so well outside of those genres in my opinion. There is a reason this movie was nominated for best picture in 1990, I only wish I knew the reason it lost.

A good drama that involves some good young actors, not to mention Robin Williams. I would say this is more a movie for guys, but women will enjoy it too. While the plot sounds lame, it was directed well enough to keep my interest. Good.
